When: As needed, especially if the kitchen smells or if bins are full.
Supplies: Trash bags, recycling bags, and compost bags are all under the kitchen sink
Steps:
- Remove liners from bins in the kitchen (cabinets left of sink, and recycling is in the bin in the hallway)
- Bring bags to the alley for disposal:
- Trash goes in the gray bin,
- Compost goes in the Green bin,
- Recycling goes in the Blue bin
- Cans and cardboard can go directlyin in the blue bin. Large cardboard should be broken down & stacked vertically.
- Plastic recycling STAYS in the orange bag, and place it in the blue bin.
- Glass → neighbor’s bin across alley (closest to Heron St).
-Replace the liners in the kitchen bins
